Indie Rock Law #71 – Start a circle pit

Start a circle pit.

If you’re even remotely punk you have the unique opportunity to yell “Get a circle pit going!” or “I wanna’ see a big circle pit!” at any given moment of your show. And you know what … you should.

When you punk rockers attend performances and are denied the opportunity to run in a circle, the show is a failure as the band has broken Indie Rock Law #71, despite it being so clearly laid out.

The only time this becomes  problematic is when the band gets older and decides it doesn’t want to see fans running and dancing in a circle. Of course, a simple change of tempo can solve that problem.

Haha. This one is so true. A circle pit is always started, only randomly during the hardest parts of certain songs.
