Never claim pop-punk.

No matter how good pop-punk has been to you…no matter how many years in a row you’ve played the Warped Tour…no matter how many people found out about you from absolutepunk.net…no matter how many of your old bands have Myspace pages with the genre listed as pop-punk…no matter how many of the members in your band would claim that Green Day’s “Dookie” is the first album they ever owned…no matter how clear it is that you ARE a pop-punk band…

…you must never claim pop-punk.
